EDC17CP14 after 06.2009 has a Anti Tuning Lock, it not open on bench must use OBD module or BSL
try both pinouts, if you cannot do bench then OBD or bsl you have no other options.

OBD mode:
But for older CP04/CP14, it’s is better to use OBD protocol module 50 as EDC17U01/U05/CP04/CP14 use can communication.
