What’s the difference between the FormulaFlash and Foxflash? Is it the same as Flex or FC200?
1.Formulaflash vs Foxflash/KT200
It’s actually different from KT200 and FoxFlash. Now they added Delco ECUs (ver1.0.0.6). It has diffrent car list like foxflash etc. Have for example msd/msv bench, tcu al551/2.
This is the first aftermarket tool to bench ZF AL552 on Audi (B9) cars and one-click IMMO Off on Delco E83 ECM. This tool will do EDC17/ME17/MED17 series ECU one-click IMMO off direct in software. Other programmers cannot.
FormulaFlash works on OBD, bench and boot. Foxflash is relatively more complete and functional. FormulaFlash has no Denso/Delphi ECU support for the moment.
One tool can do this and another tool can do that. They are complementary devices.
Formulaflash requires an annual subscription ($350 per year), foxflash enjoys free updates.
Formulaflash software is less troublesome compare to foxflash. No registration issue, no operating system issue.
2. It is not the same as Flex even though they look similar. This tool is a single unit. Flex uses benchbox. Flex costs something like $8000 for all modules.

4. Formula FLash has a lot of Bosch ECU as FC200. But they are separate tools. It does better checksum correction than FC200.
5. Formula Flash is not a clone tool. It wants an annual fee for support and updates after 12 months.
It has technical support, receives constant updates, and compared to the tool you mentioned, all protocols work with FormulaFlash.

Windows Defender didn’t register any viruses when you installed the software, which means it is not be a clone. Other clone tools may contain viruses.
FormulaFlash is a really special tool and of high quality and since the developers are gradually bringing out updates it will keep getting better and it all works in connection with your help and support. The developers are working very hard on it. Formula Flash reads ECU very fast, for example MD1CS006, MG1CS002, EDC16 etc.
Comparing it with other tuning tools makes no sense because no tuning tool will be perfect for everything.
They have already proven themselves better with the power supply than well-known manufacturers such as alientech or many other tools with the 14V 5A, so you can see that these developers are thinking ahead… give them time and this tool will be great.
